NEW CONTENT FOR GAS INSPECTORS RECERTIFICATION COURSES

Murex Welding Products has announced dates for its 2012 City & Guilds Accredited Gas Equipment Inspectors Recertification Courses.  The one day courses are designed for existing Accredited Inspectors and the cost of the course is £235 + VAT.

Wednesday 13th June, Birmingham
Wednesday 5th September, Waltham Cross
Wednesday 3rd October, Birmingham

Wednesday 21st November, Waltham Cross
Wednesday 5th December, Glasgow .

The syllabus includes a section on "What's New" in our industry which will update inspectors on changes to legislation, national standards and forthcoming EU Regulations.  There will also be a New Product Focus that will give a detailed assessment of products that have appeared on the market over the last year and are likely to be encountered by inspectors as part of their work routines.   Detailed training will be given on how to test such items so that Accredited Inspectors are fully competent to include them in their inspection reports.  Amongst the products covered there will be blowpipes, cutters and low pressure systems as well as products that fall outside oxy-fuel gas applications such as "non welding cylinders".
