Unique encapsulated control valve completely sealed for maximum reliability. The unit has benefit of an integral sintered metal filter which preserves gas purity and protects the valve seat from dirt and moisture. This feature improves the reliability and service life of the regulator.

An original Saffire innovation – solid one piece gauge cases fitted with safety bursting backs. Should the mechanism fail, the strength of the casting contains the pressure whilst the bursting back directs the debris safely away from the operator.

Clear and uncluttered gauge faces define exact working pressures and safe operational areas. Facilitates gas economy and pressure control.

Factory moulded gas specific diaphragm provides extremely effective control of gas due to the flexibility of the membrane. This feature improves gas control as the regulator senses operational changes downstream.

Bonnet vents coupled with integrated bursting discs, back up safety devices that work. All Saffire regulators have additional built in safety devices to cope with the unexpected. Dual bonnet vents discharge under the pressure adjusting knob deflecting the gas safely backwards and away from the operator.

Audible overpressure relief valve – relocated and redesigned. Should excess pressure cause this safety valve to operate it will rapidly vent and then reseal automatically once a safe level is restored. Enhanced safety.
