Description and applications

A bare manganese-silicon alloyed wire for GMAW using Ar/20CO2 mixtures or CO2 as the gas shield.  Bostrand BW1 is a general purpose mild steel non copper coated solid wire. It produces excellent quality welds with good radiographic and mechanical properties. The Bostrand BW1 is ideal for welding most mild and carbon- manganese steels.
