Adding a Murex Transmatic 4x4ESP feed unit further increases the capabilities of these Transmigs by enabling the synergic control system and providing programmable PULSE, DIP or SPRAY transfer welding modes for even more demanding welds, in stainless steel or aluminium for example.With the 4x4ESP feeder individual welding conditions can be preset, stored and simply recalled when required.Synergic lines are also factory installed for a wide range of common wire/gas combinations. A further feature is the crater-out function that automatically fills in the arc crater when welding is stopped. The 4x4ESP also features digital metering (replacing that on the 413S/513S power source) enabling the total condition, voltage, amperage and wire speed to be accurately set and monitored.
The Transmig 413S and 513S are available for use with either air cooled MIG torches or, as "W" versions, with built in water cooling units for water-cooled MIG torches.For high current pulse MIG applications with argon rich shielding gases the use of a water-cooled MIG torch is highly recommended.
