Transmig 333S & 403S
Based on the excellent 253 and 353 Transmigs the new 333S and 403S models, together with their new matching Transmatic “Lynx” feeders, are now entirely manufactured by ESAB AB.
Designed for high productivity solid or cored wire MIG/MAG welding using consumables up to 1.6mm but dominantly centering on 1.0 and 1.2mm diameters. Typical top end currents are around 250A and 350A respectively for these latter wires and the 333S and 403S Transmigs provide the capability to operate at these currents at as much as 60% duty cycle. Further yet their ranges extend to even 330A or 400A for really high deposition applications. Operating from standard 415V 3 phase UK supplies these new machines/ packages offer excellent welding performance across the full range of wire materials and shielding gases. As many as 40 voltage settings give “almost” continuous control and with 2 levels of inductance permit maximum versatility without compromise.

MIGPAK 333S
The Transmig 333S power source in combination with either the proven Transmatic Lynx or Transmatic Lynx 4 HD wire feeders and the excellent Murex MIG torch form two industrial Migpaks. The Transmatic feeders have the added benefit of a selectable slow start function to give even better arc initiation. The wire feeder can be located on top of the power source or up to 5m away with the standard interconnections as supplied.

MIGPAK 403S
The Transmig 403S is available in Migpak format together with either Transmatic Lynx 2 or 4HD wire feeders. The package also includes the rugged MXA 363B or MXA 404 MIG torches rated up to 360A and 400A respectively. Again, the feeders now incorporate a selectable slow run-in function for optimum arc starts. In addition the Transmig 403S is available with a built-in torch water cooling unit and is offered with the Transmatic Lynx 4HD and MXW 354SC water cooled MIG torch for high duty applications up to 380A.
