Transmig 326S, 406S & 406SW
The 326S, 406S and 406SW models are conventional MIG/MAG/FCW power sources using simple 3-phase switch and tap technology to produce rugged and reliable machines for industrial welding applications up to 400A. Note that the 406SW model incorporates a MIG torch water-cooling unit. The new '6S' series Transmigs replace the now familiar 333S and 403S/SW models.

The new Transmigs are now constructed in a taller and narrower all metal format requiring reduced floor-space and match the overall family image of the electronic controlled Transmig 423S and 523S launched in early 2003. Moulded front panels and the like have been eliminated and the new machines "look, work and weld" the part!

40 Voltage selections (4x10) in combination with 2 levels of inductance give very precise control of the welding characteristics of the previous models have been retained. Both 326S and 406S/SW have digital volt and ammeters with Last Reading Hold as standard and are supplied with removable gas cylinder trays, feeder swivel mounting post and work return lead.

Combined with either the proven Murex Transmatic Lynx 2 or 4HD wire feed unit (unchanged) and the relevant MX MIG torch, the new Transmig 326S, 406S or 406SW power sources form the 5 familiar MIGPAK industrial MIG package series. Note that as before each Migpak is supplied with standard 5m interconnections whose design remains unchanged.

Migpak 326S
The Transmig 326S power source in combination with either the proven Transmatic Lynx 2 or Transmatic Lynx 4 HD wire feeders and the excellent Murex MIG torch form two industrial Migpaks. The Transmatic feeders have the added benefit of a selectable slow start function to give even better arc initiation. The wire feeder can be located on top of the power source or up to 5m away with the standard interconnections as supplied.

Migpak 406S
The Transmig 406S is available in Migpak format together with either Transmatic Lynx 2 or 4HD wire feeders. The package also includes the rugged MXA 363B or MXA 404 MIG torches rated up to 360A and 400A respectively. Again the feeders incorporate a selectable slow run-in function for optimum arc-starts. In addition the Transmig 406SW is fitted with a built-in torch water cooling unit and is offered with the Transmatic Lynx 4HD and MXW 343SC water cooled MIG torch for high duty applications up to 400A.
