Tradesarc 151iAs

The Murex Tradesarc 151iAS is a new small, portable, inverter based power souce for MMA welding or for DC TIG using the lift arc method. The unit can provide from 10 to 150A single-phase electricity supplies. Automatic supply voltage sensing circuitry is used so that no internal tap changes are required. On 110V supplies, due to the much higher mains input currents required, welding over 110V is limited to increasingly low duty cycle and a 110V supply of not less that 3kVA rating is required.

The Tradesarc 151iAS is a superb performer with all kinds of electrode including difficult cellulosic type rods. To that end the user can select a special MMA mode with additional arc force to provide the required characteristics. In addition selecting TIG Lift-arc enables the unit to be used as a precision DC TIG welder for stainless and the like up to 4mm or for pipe rooting applications. An optional TIG kit, containing a TIG torch with on-handle gas valve and other required items, is available for this purpose.
