ALL MUREX PRODUCTS CONFORM TO THE RELEVANT LEGISLATION
Tungsten welding electrodes are used with an inert gas to
create a strong, ductile, homogeneous weld without contamination from
oxygen and nitrogen.
The choice of tungsten is particularly important to the quality of weld
produced. Various types of tungstens are available and below shows the
composition and identification colours of tungsten electrodes under BS
EN 26848:1991 (ISO6848:1984)

The G Tech Handy is
a compact and porable Tungsten Electrode Grinder that is very easy to
use. It assures a repeatedly sharp and centred tip and also allows the
Welder to made the final chamfer of the sharpened tip for better ignition
properties. Sharpens electrodes from 1.0mm to 4.0mm and grinds angles
from 15 degrees to 180 degrees.
