The new Murex 171,
201, and 251 Tradesmigs are step regulated welding power sources for MIG/MAG
welding. They feature a built-in wire feeder and their low weight makes
them highly practical for use on farms, in body repair shops and for light
production welding applications in many different industries.
The new Trademigs are designed for use with both conventional solid wire
and self-shielding cored welding wire. They can weld steel, stainless
steel and aluminium as well as undertake MIG brazing duties. Wire diameters
from 0.6 mm up to 1.2 mm can be used depending on the machine selected.
For ease of use, each Tradesmig features multi-step voltage switches and
potentiometers for wire speed adjustment, allowing easy setting of the
welding parameters. It is also possible to adjust burnback time and to
set spot welding times. All units are fan-cooled and equipped with thermal
overload protection.
A Power Smoothing Device™ is also provided to promote excellent welding
performance with CO2 and gas mixtures. The Power Smoothing Device™ provides
a smooth welding current, comparable to that of three phase welding machine.
All Trademigs are also equipped with ergonomically designed, gas-cooled
welding torches.
Optimum cooling of the torch gives an extended life to the swan neck and
the wear parts. Three different version of gas nozzle are available, standard,
straight and conical for maximum flexibility.
